Fair questions

Asked & answered

Why should I trust “local-only”?

Because you can verify it: LinkLore works with your network cable unplugged. No account exists to identify you, and the vault on your disk is encrypted with keys only your machine holds. Privacy here isn't a promise — it's the absence of a wire.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

Nothing. Your memory is yours. Pro features step back politely; every chain, block, and answer you ever captured stays fully accessible in the free core, forever.

Do I need a monster PC?

No NPU, no Copilot+ badge, no GPU required. LinkLore's models are chosen to run on ordinary hardware, and the heavy thinking happens on your idle cycles — it politely gets out of the way the moment you (or your movies) need the machine.

How is this different from Microsoft Recall?

Recall is a surveillance timeline bolted to an ecosystem. LinkLore is a consent-first memory you build and command — it captures with intent, answers questions, plays your media, reminds you, and creates for you. And it never, ever uploads.
